Street Water Distribution Centre

Distribution Centre is located at the junction of the west alley of House A and that leading to the east alley of the Church of Laodikeia. It was used after the earthquake of 494 when the city shrank in size. The centre was supplied from the Water Distribution Terminal II via terracotta pipeline. The terracotta pipe in the middle supplied the water to the rectangular centre measuring 2.10x2.40 m built with reused architectural blocks. The small tank carries the lid, which regulated the water pressure, and which has three strainer pipes on all four sides for distribution.
